Mark Stanton Welch takes over the firepit at the Sea Chest for a Memorial Day weekend Saturday set.
The music starts at 5:00 PM and runs until the last person leaves the pit, which is the kind of casual, generous setup that makes Sea Chest nights memorable.
You do not have to dine at the Sea Chest to enjoy the music. The firepit is open to the public. Come for the sunset, settle in with a glass of wine (Black Hand Cellars is pouring in the Wine in Line from 3:30 to 5:30 PM), and stay as long as the music keeps going. The Sea Chest is also running wine specials all weekend, including Nicora Grenache by the glass and $10 off any bottle of Rosé or Syrah.
The Sea Chest sits right on Moonstone Beach Drive, which means the ocean is doing half the work here. Bring a layer.
