Carnegie Hall comes to Cambria.
The public is invited to enjoy a world-class classical music performance by internationally acclaimed pianist Katya Grineva on May 3rd at 2 PM at the Community Presbyterian Church of Cambria.
A celebrated Steinway Artist, Katya has performed a record 23 solo concerts at Carnegie Hall, more than any other female pianist in the hall’s history. Known for her deeply expressive and lyrical style, her playing has been described by The New York Times as “liquid… dreamlike.”
This special concert will benefit Katya Concerts for Kids, Inc. (KCK), a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the transformative power of classical music to children in underserved communities. Through live performances, interactive experiences, and educational outreach, the organization introduces young audiences, many for the very first time, to the beauty, inspiration, and emotional richness of classical music.
New York-based Katya will be visiting friends in Cambria and has agreed to perform a concert here. The event is being sponsored by the Cambria Chorale and the Community Presbyterian Church of Cambria, which has generously opened its beautiful hall, featuring a superb piano, for this special occasion.
While admission is complimentary, guests are kindly encouraged to consider a donation to Katya Concerts for Kids, Inc., with a suggested minimum contribution of $50 per adult.
As seating is limited, please contact John Briscoe at [email protected] or call 505-263-8414 to reserve your seat. Cambria resident John serves on the KCK Board. Having attended many of her performances, he and his wife Anita describe her playing as exceptionally romantic, captivating audiences with both elegance and emotional depth.
