This docent-led walk explores the dynamic relationship between ocean and land along the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.
Seasonal upwelling offshore fuels a chain of life, from microscopic plankton to fish, seabirds, and marine mammals. Along the bluff, spring brings blooming flowers, new grasses, and increased wildlife activity.
Led by docent Gil Eastman, this walk connects these systems, offering insight into one of the most active and diverse environments on the Central Coast.
Registration is required. Meeting location details will be shared with all registrants in advance.
Before you go:
Wear comfortable shoes. No restroom facilities. Children welcome with supervision. No dogs. Rain cancels.
This walk is part of the Spring Docent Walk series at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve
