Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how these efforts support the long-term health of regional ecosystems and local communities. \nDrew Loganbill brings more than a decade of experience in conservation planning and project implementation. SUMMARY:Greenspace’s Annual 1\,000 Tree Planting
DESCRIPTION:Greenspace’s Annual 1\,000 Tree Planting is a meaningful\, hands on way to give back to the Cambria landscape while spending time outdoors with the community. \nVolunteers are invited to help plant one thousand Monterey Pine trees as part of an ongoing reforestation project in partnership with Greenspace and California State Parks. This family friendly event welcomes all ages and experience levels. A brief Tree Planting 101 will be shared before planting begins\, so first timers are encouraged to join. \nParticipants are asked to wear long pants\, closed toe shoes\, and a hat\, and to bring sunscreen\, gloves\, water\, and a shovel if available. Greenspace will provide lunch\, including peanut butter and jelly and almond butter sandwiches\, chips\, cookies\, and beverages. \nAdvance sign up is required. To reserve a spot\, participants should email admin@greenspacecambria.org or call the Greenspace office at 805.927.2866. The exact meeting location within Hearst San Simeon State Park will be shared after sign up. \nThis is a wonderful opportunity to support local conservation efforts while making a lasting impact on the Cambria coastline.
