DESCRIPTION:Cambria Center for the Arts opens “It’s the Journey\,” a two-month exhibition featuring painter\, animator\, and filmmaker George Scribner.\nThe show runs from Tuesday\, June 30 through Sunday\, August 30. \nScribner’s work is known for its rich use of color and careful attention to shadow and light. His oil paintings capture moments in time\, with subject matter ranging from evocative street scenes to picturesque landscapes. The show’s title reflects Scribner’s belief that the road to excellence is a journey\, with meaningful pauses along the way. Local artists are also invited to contribute works that follow the broad theme of journey\, however they choose to interpret it. \nGallery hours run Tuesday through Sunday\, noon to 4 PM.
