DESCRIPTION:The California Sculptors Symposium returns to Cambria for its annual week-long gathering of sculptors\, artists\, and creative explorers at Camp Ocean Pines. \nThis immersive program features hands-on workshops\, demonstrations\, and collaborative learning experiences led by professional sculptors working in a wide variety of materials including stone\, wood\, clay\, metal\, and mixed media. \nParticipants of all experience levels are welcome. The symposium is designed to inspire creativity\, refine techniques\, and provide a supportive environment where artists can exchange ideas and deepen their craft. \n2026 workshop highlights include: \n\nFigurative Clay with Alexander S. Peter focusing on gesture and anatomical structure\nInflatable Sculpture with Amy Brown exploring creative forms using fabric and plastics\nStone Carving with Brian Barreto teaching efficient carving techniques and creative problem solving\n\nArtists return year after year to learn new techniques\, collaborate with fellow creators\, and recharge their artistic energy along California’s beautiful Central Coast. \nSeveral participation options are available including week-long packages\, day workshops\, and work-study opportunities.
