Cambria Wildflower Show

April 26 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm PDT

Spring on the Central Coast brings an explosion of color to the hills surrounding Cambria, and the Cambria Wildflower Show celebrates that seasonal transformation with a weekend dedicated to native plants and local ecology.

Hosted at the Cambria Veterans Memorial Hall, the event features extensive displays of wildflowers gathered from the coastal hills, forests, and grasslands that surround the North Coast. Botanists and volunteers carefully identify and label each specimen, creating an educational exhibit that highlights the remarkable diversity of wildflowers found across San Luis Obispo County.

Visitors can explore dozens of native species while learning about the ecosystems that support them, from the pine forests of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve to the open coastal terraces above Moonstone Beach. Knowledgeable volunteers are on hand throughout the weekend to answer questions and share insights about plant identification, blooming seasons, and conservation efforts.

The show often coincides with guided walks and nature programs organized by the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, making it a wonderful opportunity to deepen your appreciation for Cambria’s landscapes.

For locals and visitors alike, the Wildflower Show offers a rare chance to see the Central Coast’s native flora up close while learning about the habitats that make this region so special.
