Thank you for your interest in advertising with HelloCambria.com. These Terms and Conditions help ensure a positive experience for our advertisers, readers, and the Cambria community. By submitting an advertising order, you agree to the terms below.
Scope and Suitability
HelloCambria primarily accepts advertising from local businesses, nonprofits, and services that are relevant to visitors and residents of Cambria and the surrounding Central Coast.
Campaigns related to political messaging, advocacy, employment classifieds, legal notices, obituaries, or large national buys require prior review. Please contact us before submitting if your campaign falls into one of these categories.
Advertising Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of your creative materials. By advertising with HelloCambria, you grant us a non exclusive license to display and distribute your ads in connection with your order and our services.
Accuracy and Compliance
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of your advertising content, including claims, links, and targeting. All advertising must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Right to Refuse or Remove
We reserve the right to refuse, pause, or remove advertising at our discretion for reasons including quality, fit, brand alignment, or legal concerns. When possible, we will notify you and request updated materials.
Orders and Scheduling
Creative Submission
Advertisers are responsible for providing creative assets by the agreed deadline. Late submissions may delay the start of a campaign.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least two calendar days before the scheduled start date. Cancellations received after that window are subject to full payment for the current advertising period.
Placement and Positioning
Ad placement and rotation are determined by HelloCambria based on availability and site layout. While we make good faith efforts to honor placement preferences, specific positioning is not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.
Advertising placements are non exclusive unless otherwise specified.
Pricing and Billing
Rates
Advertisers agree to the rates outlined in their order. Rates may not be offset against other claims.
Billing Timing
Advertising is billed at the beginning of each advertising month for the month ahead, unless otherwise stated in your order. Ads will not run until payment is received.
Rate Changes
Public advertising rates may change prospectively. If a rate change impacts a confirmed order that has not yet started, you will be notified and may cancel that order prior to the new rate taking effect.
Ad Serving and Delivery
We may use third party tools for ad serving, analytics, and reporting.
Delivery within ten percent above or below the agreed duration or impressions is considered acceptable. If significant under delivery occurs, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide a makegood.
Payment and Taxes
Payments are accepted through secure checkout or invoice, as specified in your order.
All rates exclude applicable taxes. Advertisers are responsible for any required taxes, fees, or duties.
Term and Termination
These terms take effect upon order submission.
Either party may terminate for a material breach that remains uncured thirty days after written notice.
Upon termination, payment is due for all advertising delivered through the effective date. Any prepaid amount exceeding delivered services will be refunded. HelloCambria is not responsible for incidental or consequential costs.
Warranties and Liability
Advertising services are provided as is. We do not guarantee traffic volume, impressions, or performance outcomes.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific advertising placement giving rise to the claim.
Advertisers agree to indemnify and hold harmless HelloCambria.com and Kaleidoscope Coast from claims arising from advertising content, products, or breach of these terms, except where caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
General Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in San Luis Obispo County.
Nothing herein creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.
Advertisers may not assign their rights without written consent. HelloCambria may assign these terms in connection with business operations.
Confidential business information will be kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law.

These Terms, together with your advertising order, form the entire agreement. Updates may be posted with a revised date, and continued advertising constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
